Markel International has promoted Andrew Green to the role of head of underwriting risk and Emma Higgins to the role of head of catastrophe management.

Both Green and Higgins have been with Markel for several years, with Green joining the carrier in 2014 as head of catastrophe management and Higgins joining more than six years ago as a senior catastrophe analyst.
