Chancellor Jeremy Hunt is to launch a consultation on a wide-ranging set of financial services reforms dubbed the “Edinburgh” package in a bid to boost the industry’s post-Brexit competitiveness, according to reports.

City minister Andrew Griffith told the Financial Times in an interview yesterday that the proposed reforms, nicknamed ‘Big Bang 2.0’
