Axa XL has appointed Laura Casby as head of upstream energy for the UK and Lloyd’s, effective immediately.

Casby will be responsible for covering offshore and onshore risks and help to develop the upstream energy book.

Casby joined Axa XL in 2009, when she began her career as an underwriting assistant at Catlin.
