RSA to launch low-carbon underwriting policy from 1 January 2023

RSA is to launch a low-carbon underwriting policy from 1 January next year, which includes a commitment to achieving a portfolio for energy production that is more than 75% low-carbon by 2030.

The Intact-owned carrier said its strategy will inform every part of its global underwriting operations, and use independent climate data to measure portfolio performance and inform its underwriting and portfolio management processes.
