Darag Group’s German carrier Darag Deutschland has secured UK court approval to complete a Part VII transfer with China Taiping Insurance (CTI) UK as part of a loss portfolio transfer (LPT).

The pair agreed to the LPT in December 2021. CTI had been underwriting in the UK and Europe since 1985 but, due to the changing regulator requirements following Brexit, it has decided to transfer its EU books of business...
