Sue Langley, non-executive chair of Gallagher UK and Alderwoman for the ward of Aldgate, has called for the London market to engage proactively with the City of London Corporation to ensure the needs and concerns of the (re)insurance industry are better represented at the highest levels.

Langley, who was first elected as Alderwoman in 2018 and is standing for re-election in December, told Insurance Insider she wanted to link the (re)insurance industry more closely with some of the City Corporation’s objectives, programmes and projects.
