Acquisitive broker Ardonagh has sealed a deal to buy Australian group Envest for A$482mn (£270mn) as the UK intermediary continues with its international build-out.

Envest will be acquired by Ardonagh Australia, which will trade locally under the Envest brand and will be led by current managing director Greg Mullins.
