S&P Global Ratings has downgraded Scor’s financial strength ratings (FSR) to A+ from AA-, noting that the French carrier’s operating performance has not met the agency’s expectations.

The ratings agency said that Scor has been affected over the last nine months by a challenging P&C price environment before 2022, elevated nat cats and lower investment income.
