WTW has launched the pilot phase of a digital trading platform for commercial insurance with Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) and Markel International, with an aim to digitise and automate the process from submission to quotation.

In announcing the platform, WTW said the London market increasingly recognises that digital connectivity among all stakeholders is essential to modernise the insurance value chain and ultimately sustain the industry’s relevance.
