BOC Aviation sues 16 insurers over Russia losses

BOC Aviation has begun legal action against 16 insurers in the Irish High Court to recoup some of its losses arising from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The lessor has named Lloyd’s Insurance Company (LIC), Global Aerospace, Chubb, Convex, Fidelis, HDI Global, Great Lakes Insurance, Starr, Swiss Re, Axis Specialty, Elseco, Generali, Helvetia Assurances, MMA IARD, SMA and AIG Europe in the lawsuit.
