Conduit Re wrote more than $600mn of premiums in the nine months to September and hailed “exceptionally attractive” market conditions in the wake of Hurricane Ian.

The reinsurer estimated losses of $40mn from Ian, net of reinsurance recoveries and reinstatement premiums, while reserves for Ukraine remained unchanged at $24.6mn.
