Ascot has temporarily paused quoting new grain shipments in the Ukrainian region under its facility, following Russia’s withdrawal from a United Nations deal to allow grain transportation.

The insurer said that it was pausing quoting until the situation is better understood, but that it remains committed to the initiative and is hopeful it can recommence writing business.
