Montague and Rcapital complete UK General Insurance MGA acquisition

Private equity house Rcapital Partners and MGA investor Montague Investment Group have completed the acquisition of Leeds-based personal lines MGA UK General Insurance, and MGA service business Precision Partnership Limited (PPL).

Following the deal, which was announced in August, the leadership of the companies will be combined, with founding JLT director Lord Marland becoming chairman, Tim Smyth CEO and Ryan Gill CFO.
