PRA fines MS Amlin £9.7mn for 2014-19 governance failings

The UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) has fined MS Amlin Underwriting £9.69mn ($10.83mn) for a variety of failings, including those relating to oversight of underwriting and risk management, between 1 September 2014 and 31 December 2019.

MS Amlin agreed to resolve the matter and qualified for a 30% reduction in the fine, which would otherwise have amounted to £13.85mn.
