Everest Re has opened insurance operations in Paris and Düsseldorf as the company continues with its international expansion strategy in Europe.

The French operation will be led by Anne Charon, and the German unit by Bernd Wiemann, who were appointed as country heads earlier this year, along with José Ramón Morales as head of Spain.
