A group of European companies including Airbus and Michelin have joined forces to create a mutual cyber insurer, in order to access extra capacity in an ongoing hard market.

The company – dubbed Miris – will operate as a mutual insurance company incorporated in Belgium, owned and operated by its members and only offering coverage exclusively for cyber risks.
