Tokio Marine Kiln has appointed Kirsten Shastri as head of life sciences as it looks to target growth in the sector.

Shastri will report to departmental head of liability Chris Jones and underwrite a range of life sciences risks, including traditional medical devices and pharmaceutical companies through to novel products being developed worldwide.
