The Insurance Institute of London (IIL) has appointed Marsh UK and Ireland CEO Chris Lay as president for 2022-23, replacing Julian Enoizi.

Lay, who was appointed to his current role at Marsh in June 2018, is also country corporate officer for Marsh McLennan in the UK, providing leadership for Marsh, Guy Carpenter and Oliver Wyman.
