Caribbean and Florida brace for ninth storm of season

Areas of the Caribbean and southern Florida are bracing for Tropical Depression Nine, which is expected to reach landfall over the weekend.

The storm is forecast to cause heavy rainfall, flash flooding and possible mudslides in Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, with heavy rain also likely to reach Jamaica and the Cayman Islands in the next few days.
