White Mountains to repurchase $467.4mn of shares

Bermuda-based White Mountains Insurance is expecting to buy back $467.4mn of shares as its modified Dutch auction tender offer closed last night in New York.

The insurance investment firm said 333,878 shares were properly tendered and not withdrawn at or below the purchase price of $1,400 per share, based on a preliminary count by the depositary for the tender offer.
