Syndicate 1200 sale reassures Lloyd's, serves Westfield and Argo: Westfield's Kuhn

Westfield Specialty president Jack Kuhn said the purchase of Argo’s Syndicate 1200 gives the carrier “an accelerated entry into the international marketplace,” allowing Argo to redeploy capital as it sees fit.

In an interview with Inside P&C, the executive said the move also assures Lloyd’s that a “sizeable syndicate” will not go into run-off.
