Economic inflation is having a “minor” impact on reserving practices and is unlikely to result in negative reserve developments, said Swiss Re’s CUO Thierry Leger.

“What could actually change that impact over time is if wage inflation really comes in – and it [hasn’t] so far,” Leger said during a press conference at the Rendez-Vous de Septembre in Monte Carlo, Monday.
