Legacy carrier Darag has completed a $30mn legacy deal with an undisclosed North American captive insurance company, relating primarily to workers’ compensation reserves.

The deal was a novation of the captive’s 2003-06 and 2015-16 policy years, allowing the company full legal finality, with Darag facing the original fronting insurer.
