Zurich Insurance company office headquarters

Zurich boosted its P&C business operating profits by 32% to more than $2.05bn in H1 2022, along with a combined ratio in the segment it said was the lowest ever, as an improvement in underwriting profitability and higher prices powered earnings.

The combined ratio in the insurer’s P&C operations was 91.9% for H1, a 2-point improvement on the same period last year, while the segment also reported 8% top-line growth.
