TransRe has named Matthew Mahoney to the new position of COO, where he will continue to report directly to chairman, president and CEO Ken Brandt.

In addition to his continuing responsibilities for finance and accounting as CFO, Mahoney will assume responsibility for the strategic direction of TransRe’s legal, regulatory, audit and information technology departments.
