Generali P&C operating profits up 3% to EUR1.3bn

Generali’s P&C division registered a 3% increase in operating profits for H1 to EUR1.3bn ($1.3bn), while group operating profits rose by 4.8% to EUR3.1bn.

The overall improvement in group results was driven largely by a positive performance in the life and P&C segments, with strong P&C growth emerging in Generali’s non-motor line in particular.
