North America tops H1 for legacy deals as transactions hit $4.7bn

The North American legacy market continued to be the most active in terms of deal volume and magnitude in H1, with 11 publicly-disclosed deals completed totalling $4.7bn, according to a PwC report.

In its half-year study of the non-life run-off market, PwC said that the UK and Ireland was second on the list of most active territories for transactions, with five deals totalling $700mn.
