European insurance M&A deals up 26% in Q2

The volume of insurance M&A deals across Europe rose by 26% in Q2 2022, with transactions increasing to 110 from 85 year-on-year, according to an FTI Consulting study.

The European Insurance M&A Barometer report found that most M&A deals originated from the UK and Ireland, with a total of 62 transactions and a 17% increase on the same period in 2021 across this combined territory.
