ICA claims count for NSW floods jumps 57%, but lags earlier 2022 floods

The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) said insurers have received 6,853 claims related to the storms and flooding in New South Wales (NSW) since 1 July, a figure that has risen 57% overnight.

The claims count is so far lower than the numbers that were received in the early days after flooding in February and March this year.
