Suncorp raises aggregate attachment and grows occurrence treaty

Suncorp has increased its aggregate attachment point from A$650mn to A$850mn ($585mn) and raised the upper limit of its main catastrophe excess of loss programme from A$6.5bn to A$6.8bn.

The company said that “changes have been made to reflect the material hardening of the global reinsurance market following elevated natural hazard activity in recent years”.
