Sompo Holdings has joined peers MS&AD and Tokio Marine in joining the Net-Zero Insurance Alliance (NZIA).

The alliance commits members to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in their underwriting portfolios by 2050.

MS&AD joined earlier this month, while Tokio Marine signed up in January.
