AJ Gallagher & Co have acquired Innovu Insurance, an Ireland-based retail insurance brokerage that offers a range of commercial and personal insurance products and services, as well as financial services.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Innovu founder Ronan Foley and his associates will report to Michael Rea, who runs Gallagher's retail P&C brokerage operations in the UK and Ireland.
