Aon appoints Toffanello as reinsurance solutions head of Italy

Aon has named Pietro Toffanello as head of its Italy reinsurance solutions unit, where he will be responsible for Aon’s three offices in the country.

He will be based in Milan and report to reinsurance solutions EMEA co-CEOs Tomas Novotny and Alfonso Valera.

He will replace long-standing Italy CEO for reinsurance solutions Gianluca Venturini, who will transition to the role of reinsurance solutions’ Italy chairman.
