AerCap launches High Court claim against AIG and Atrium

The largest lessor in the world, AerCap, has filed suit against AIG and Syndicate 5310, which is Atrium’s Lloyd’s Europe unit, to recoup losses arising from the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

AerCap, which filed the suit on 9 June, will be looking to recover most of the $3.5bn all-risks claim it filed in March.
