Pub company Stonegate told the UK High Court today the “story of no two venues is the same” as it launched its £1.1bn ($1.3bn) trial against insurers, which hinges largely on the aggregation of Covid-19 BI claims across its 760 venues.

The pub company is suing MS Amlin, Zurich and Liberty Mutual over the scale of its claim entitlement from the pandemic, with the pub company arguing that each premise should be entitled to a separate insurance limit.
