Perils puts latest February Australia floods estimate at A$4.9bn

Perils has upped its loss estimate for the February floods in eastern Australia by almost A$1bn ($700mn) to A$4.9bn.

The second loss estimate by the loss aggregator marks an increase from an initial figure of A$4bn disclosed in April.
