ABI sets out five key tasks for government on net-zero

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has called on the UK government to take specific action to help insurers and long-term savings providers to maximise their role in tackling climate change.

At its climate-change summit yesterday, the ABI asked the government to change rules to allow the sector to invest more of its capital into green assets and ensure carriers are “central” to discussion around green infrastructure development.
