Heritage lowers its main first event exhaustion point by $100mn as costs rise 15%

Heritage Insurance has completed its 2022-23 reinsurance program, decreasing its first event exhaustion point by $100mn to $1.3bn in the southeast from $1.4bn in the prior year, as its dollar spend rose 15%.

The company’s first event reinsurance tower exhaustion points clocked in at $1.2bn for the northeast region, $1.3bn in the southeast and $780mn in Hawaii.
