Sompo on track to increase overseas non-life profit by 62% in 2022

Sompo Holdings has projected a 100bn yen ($788mn) adjusted profit for 2022 for its overseas non-life segment, a 62% increase on the prior year.

In an update on its mid-term management plan, the Japanese carrier said it expected to book 93.5bn yen in adjusted profit for the Sompo International P&C book for this year, with the remainder from overseas consumer business.
