Global purchasing of cyber up 30% since 2019: Marsh

The number of companies purchasing cyber insurance has increased nearly 30% compared to 2019, according to a joint Marsh and Microsoft study that surveyed over 660 cyber risk decision makers.

As well as indicating a marked rise in purchasing since Marsh’s last equivalent survey back in 2019, the report also shows that nearly 75% of companies surveyed across 56 countries had experienced a cyber attack of some form.
