Aviva has entered exclusive negotiations with specialist MGA Azur Underwriting to acquire its high-net-worth (HNW) personal lines business in the UK and Ireland and transfer its team to the insurer.

Aviva said the acquisition would support its ambition to become the market leader in the HNW personal lines market, allowing the carrier to build on its existing distribution relationships to deliver an “efficient” service to brokers in the HNW...
