MS Amlin trims net loss to £190mn in 2021 as combined ratio falls to 107.4%

MS Amlin reported a net loss of £190mn ($200.2mn) in 2021, an improvement from a loss of £222mn a year earlier, driven by a 2-point improvement in the combined ratio to 107.4%.

Parent company MS&AD reported net profits up 82% to 262.7bn yen ($2.05bn) for the fiscal year to March 2022, with a 13% rise in profits for the overseas insurance unit.
