Insurers ‘slashing’ rates on previously declined D&O risks: Howden

Insurers have been “uncharacteristically slashing” premiums on D&O risks they had previously declined, in some cases, as the class of business transitions from a dramatic hardening according to Howden.

A D&O report from the broker found instances where carriers had been cutting such premiums as early as January, reflecting a continued shift from the trend that characterised the last two years.
