Scor to shun oil field production projects from 2023

Scor will not provide insurance protection for any new oil field production projects from 2023 and will double its coverage for low-carbon energies by 2025, as was agreed at the carrier’s AGM today chaired by Denis Kessler.

Scor is one the eight founding members of the Net-Zero Insurance Alliance, launched in July last year with the aim of transitioning underwriting portfolios to become carbon neutral by 2050.
