AmTrust says costs capped at £1mn in $6.9mn Premia RITC dispute

AmTrust has said it would be “contrary to commercial common sense” to be liable for expenses of £1mn ($1.2mn) relating to a reinsurance to close (RITC) deal with Premia and Arch.

Premia and Arch have launched a $6.7mn legal case against AmTrust relating to an RITC for the 2018 year of account of Syndicate 1861.
