Insurability in question in parts of Australia: Allianz’s Terzariol

There are parts of Australia where climate change and natural catastrophes are calling insurability into question, according to Allianz CFO Giulio Terzariol.

Allianz booked its highest cat claims for Q1 in over a decade this year, with claims of EUR689mn ($719mn) driven by Australia, where cat events including flooding added over 20 points to the combined ratio.
