Axa subsidiary Axa SA receives reinsurance licence from French regulator

Axa SA, the holding company of Axa Group, has received its reinsurance licence from the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR).

The company had previously announced its intention to transform holding group Axa SA into the group’s internal reinsurer, absorbing its captive Axa Global Re in a merger.
