Aon has expanded the scope of reinsurance managing director Jaime Pineda’s role in Miami, as he takes on the position of LatAm strategic growth leader, in addition to his current job as “large locals” leader for treaty reinsurance, this publication has learned. 

It is understood that the executive, who joined Aon in early 2021 after almost two decades at Swiss Re, will report to recently promoted regional reinsurance CEO Paula Ferreira.
