Aircastle launches $350mn claim for stranded equipment

Connecticut-based aircraft lessor Aircastle has launched a $350mn insurance claim for equipment stranded in Russia, according to its annual report.

Aircastle has nine planes on the ground in Russia, following the successful repossession of two aircraft after 24 February, and one in Ukraine, which in total are worth $251.9mn.
