Generali shareholder Edizione, controlled by Italy’s Benetton family, has sided with shareholders pushing for a CEO to replace embattled incumbent Philippe Donnet, according to a report.

Reuters reported yesterday that the family, famed for the fashion firm Benetton Group, want to promote dialogue among investors in the Italian carrier and between shareholders and the group’s management.
